Robert L. (Reb) Scarborough is a lifelong Episcopalian retired from the oil industry after 29 years working as Mechanical & Petroleum Engineer, District Engineer, various supervisory positions and IT Enterprise Architect and Project Manager.

He is now full-time engaged in Church growth and congregational and organization development consulting. His specific focus is on leadership development and training, team building, visioning and plan implementation.

Reb completed a 4-year Certificate in Advanced Studies in Congregational Development from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL in 2000. He is a recent graduate of the Diocese of Texas' Ministry Academy.

Reb is a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, Richmond, TX. He teaches Confirmation class for youth and adults and participates with the contemporary music team.

He has served on several past Vestries as Sr. Warden, Jr. Warden, Chairman of Mission & Ministry Committee, Chairman of Christian Education, Evangelism, and Stewardship committees including past Chairman of a capital funds drive.

Reb has experience in Church planning and development since 1994.

His most recent work has been with Episcopal Dioceses of Texas, Michigan (EMoMI RSVP Guiding Coalition Update 2011) and Mississippi, St. Dusntan, Houston, TX, St. James, Houston, TX, Calvary, Richmond, TX, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Houston, TX; Trinity Episcopal Church, Houston, TX; El Buen Samaritano Episcopal Mission, Austin, TX; Grace Episcopal Church, Georgetown, TX; St. Michael's and Incarnation Episcopal Church (now Hope Episcopal Church) Houston, TX; St. Cuthbert, Houston, TX; St. Martin's, Houston, TX; St. Francis, Houston; Pakistani Bishops; Calvary Episcopal Church, Richmond, TX; St. Marks, San Marcos, TX; St. Teresa’s Episcopal Church, Acworth, GA; and St. Thomas, Wharton, TX.

Reb is married to Anne for 37 years and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
